Robert Langford is one of the foremost carvers of bone and fossil ivory in the world today. He received the La Confrerie Des Maitres Pipers de Saint Claude, in Saint Claude, France in 1980. He has more pieces of his scrimshaw art in the Maui Whaler Museum than any other living artist in the world.
Mr. Langford has created major pieces for the Rockefeller collections and numerous other museums throughout Europe and the United States. |
